Westinghouse Corp. manufactured the MC-10 metal cask, which is designed to vertically store 24 SNF assemblies from a pressurized water reactor (PWR).  Unique among the vertical cask designs, the MC-10 metal cask has vertically-oreinted “fins” to aid in cooling.  Only one MC-10 cask is in use in the United States at the Surry Station.
